Once you take two or three hits off of this strain, you will see where it got its name from. I pictured a bowl of rainbow sherbert ice cream as I took my first sample of this flower and I have to say it was delicious! I wasn’t sure what to expect from this one and was pleasantly surprised. When I opened my mailbox, that there was a slight skunky smell and I got excited and couldn’t wait to roll one up. This was my second batch of THCA bud to try…the first was lower grade and just not what i was looking for. I am a daily smoker and seek top shelf bud. This one knocked it out of the park for me.
Appearance- The picture on the website doesn’t do it justice. I opened the bag and broke the largest bud in half. It has a gorgeous lite green, dark purple, and orange interior, dusted in white trichome. Slightly sticky and very dense.
Aroma- it has a light skunkiness to it (not sure if that’s a real word but you get what I’m sayin) and with a pleasant fresh sweetness to it. This one has a mild but very fresh, pleasant smell to it that doesn’t disappoint. it kind of reminds me of the smell of honeysuckle but with a little bit of skunk.
Flavor- Id say its sweet. like rainbow sherbert with out the tang or hints of an orange thats kinda sweet and not sour. Like a very ripe dewberry.
Effects- This is a great buzz. I smoked 1/2 of a 3/4gram joint. I typically smoke 2 or 3 a day. 1/2 the joint was perfect. it was right in the middle for me. It was right in the chill zone. i was functional, not lazy, but not trying to conquer the world either… it was laid back.. And the best thing about it… the main reason it gets 5 stars for me, is that it reduced my nausea and muscle pain which is hard for me to find strains that help me in that aspect…. Im not saying it gets rid of it completely or fixes it, but I could definitely say that it reduced it and made me much more comfortable.
Overall-if you are on the fence about trying a THCA flower thinking that it’s just going to taste like an old dirty hemp rope, I can assure you that is not the case if you try this strain. I haven’t tried many THCA flowers yet, but this one is right up there with many of the top shelf THC buds that I have experienced. I will be getting this one again.
