Does CBD Flower Have THC? (Will I Fail a Drug Test?)
This is probably one of the most asked questions that we get.
The answer to this question is somewhat tricky. Technically you should pass a drug test however a false positive can happen especially if a cheap drug test is used. What we recommend is the following.
- If you fail a drug test due to a false positive request a blood or hair follicle test which are more accurate than a urine test.
- If possible, talk to your job or your parole officer about this beforehand so that if a false positive happens they are aware and you can then take a follow up test without any consequence.
While legal hemp flower does not have enough to THC in it to truly make you fail a drug test it can cause a false positive which is usually not due to the thc alone but a cheap test will not be able to differentiate between the thc and other cannabinoids that are similar in chemical makeup.
